Dissonant Works welcomes highly regarded Chicago trombonist Jeb Bishop for an evening of creative and improvised music.

Bishop will perform two sets throughout the evening. The first features acclaimed jazz poet K Curtis Lyle alongside a quartet with bassist Damon Smith, pianist Aaron Smith, and trombonist Jeremy Melsha.

The second set presents a trio featuring Kevin Harris on synthesizer, Madi Powers on French horn, and Steve Whetstone on daxophone, a rare bowed wooden instrument capable of uniquely expressive and otherworldly sounds.
