Tropos (NYC), Bret Schneider, Hopeful Utopian, Fred Tompkins Quartet

On April 6, 8pm, please join us as we welcome the very exciting composing/improvising group Tropos (@tropos.music) from NYC. Blurring the lines between composition, improvisation, new music, jazz, noise, and beyond all without losing their tight musicianship, they guarantee to impress.

Joining them is Bret Schneider (@bret_fall) fantastically creative composer and artist. Using electronic and mechanic means to explore new avenues in creative music, such as new tuning systems, synthesis of disparate art forms, and new sounds, Bret is a true St Louis maverick.

Hopeful Utopian (@hopefulutopian ) will be performing her unique solo math/post rock. Using an assortment of pedals, loopers, etc, she will conjure up songs and sound worlds sure to appeal to the ear.
