William Covert, the fantastically skilled and creative drummer from Chicago comes to DW. Free Jazz, post-rock, experimentalism, Covert draws from all of that and more to create a unique, mind warping stew.
Skin Effect, Steve Whetstone and Aaron Smith, are…I’m struggling to describe them! Whetstone builds his own instruments (and these are high quality instruments, he’s built guitars for some big names), Smith is one of St. Louis’s best pianists. But when they come together…expect something unique.
And also! Huht! The hypnotic, proggy, krautrocky St. Louis duo. So psychedelic and mesmerizing. Let them bring you to a space outside of time.
